WCW Offering $1,000 to V.A. Whistleblowers

Brave whistleblowers have been responsible for exposing rampant waste, fraud and abuse at the Department of Veterans Affairs, including veterans dying while desperately waiting for treatment, falsifying wait time records, and the agency’s plans to throw out 500,000 veterans’ applications for medical care.

White Coat Waste Project has recently uncovered evidence of violations of federal animal welfare laws, dogs killed in botched experiments, and “reckless” staff treating veterans at the VA–and we know this is only the tip of the iceberg.

WCW is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who has evidence of animal abuse or government waste in VA dog laboratories. Starting this week, people who work at the VA will begin seeing ads on Facebook encouraging them to confidentially come forward with information about animal welfare violations or other abuses inside VA animal laboratories.
