Progress: Congress hounds Fauci about beagle experiments following WCW campaign

by Meg McCarney · in Blog

Our recent investigation of wasteful and barbaric taxpayer-funded experiments on beagles funded by Anthony Fauci’s NIH division set off a media firestorm.

Now, Congress is taking notice and taking action.

As first reported by the Daily Caller, in a new letter sent to Fauci, Congressman Scott Perry and 14 colleagues cite our new investigation and demand answers about the project, including has much money has been spent to date, how many dogs have been killed, and why the NIH commissioned the deadly dog testing when the Food and Drug Administration has said it’s not required.

Signing the letter to Fauci along with Rep. Perry are Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Ken Calvert (R-CA), Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), Rodney Davis (R-IL), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Diana Harshbarger (R-TN), Yvette Herrell (R-NM),  Fred Keller (R-PA), Brian Mast (R-FL), Bill Posey (R-FL), Greg Steube (R-FL), Glenn Thompson (R-PA), Randy Weber (R-TX) and Daniel Webster (R-FL).

We’re grateful to Waste Warrior Rep. Perry for his outstanding leadership to hold Anthony Fauci and the NIH accountable for wasting tax dollars on senseless beagle abuse!

Join the fight! Tell your Members of Congress that you don’t want your tax dollars wasted on abusing dogs and puppies in cruel and unnecessary experiments!
