As first reported by POLITICO this morning, WCW shocked the committee with testimony about how Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s Department of Health and Human Services changed its voicemail message this week to say, “Thank you for calling Domino’s Pizza!” in response to a flood of phone calls from WCW supporters angry about Kittengate — his agency’s continued funding for cruel cat testing.

WCW’s explosive testimony got the attention of The Hill, Just the News, POLITICO, Mediaite, The Independent, Gateway Pundit, Washington Post, Yahoo News, International Business Times, MAHA influencers, Fox News, The Washington Stand, The Federalist, and even California Governor Gavin Newsom’s office.

WCW explained how government transparency tools, like the Freedom of Information Act and federal spending databases, have been critical to our efforts to uncover and stop wasteful, taxpayer-funded animal testing supported by the Small Business Administration (SBA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other federal agencies. 

Our testimony highlighted how WCW investigations that relied on government transparency tools:
