Stacy M. Lopresti-Goodman, Ph.D., Advisory Board Member

Stacy Lopresti-Goodman earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2009. She is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology, and the Honors Program Director, at Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Dr. Lopresti-Goodman’s research focuses on the psychological harms of exploiting animals in laboratories, and on alternatives to the use of animals in psychology education. She has provided expert testimony for successful campaigns to end wasteful and harmful experiments on animals in the U.S. and abroad, and her work has been featured in media outlets including Nature, Science, and NPR.
